FIKA(S) is launching its very first OFF FIKA(S) — a series of special events leading up to our full festival return in 2027. And to open the series, we’re thrilled to welcome back a beloved artist from our community: Montreal-based Norwegian singer-songwriter Marthe Halvorsen.
Montreal-based Norwegian singer-songwriter Marthe Halvorsen has just released her long-awaited second album, Feed the Fire, Breathe the Night. This collection of indie-folk songs, both atmospheric and distinctive, showcases Halvorsen’s rare talent for creating music that feels at once deeply intimate and universally resonant. With introspective lyrics and her unmistakable voice, she strikes an emotional chord that lingers long after the last note.
