BLOCK THEATER WORKSHOP - ROOSA HALME (FINLAND)

Discover Block Theater as a family!

In block theatre, imagination, with the help of wooden blocks, guides participants through different worlds. Block theatre is a form of visual art that stimulates the viewer's imagination. Here, you will use the blocks to create new characters and new worlds.

Workshop for all ages (from 5 years old).

Duration: 45 minutes

The workshop can be conducted simultaneously in French, English, Swedish, or Finnish!

Workshop led by Roosa Halme (KO-KOO-MO)

Roosa Halme is a puppet theatre artist and composer. She has worked in the field of puppet theatre as performer, director, composer, musician, festival director, TV-host, puppet constructor and artist at schools. Halme has been working as regional artist of puppet theatre at Art Promotion Center Finland 2012-2015. She is a founding member and long-term artistic director of TIP-Fest and works at the moment as International Ambassador of Aura of Puppets. Her works, e.g. Block Theatre -concept, have been touring all over Finland and internationally. KO-KOO-MO expresses gratitude to the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the Arts Promotion Center in Finland for their support.
