The bookstore Un livre à soi will host the FIKA(S) Festival and the two authors for an intimate conversation. During this event, we will explore various themes that unveil the secrets of the authors and the behind-the-scenes of creating these captivating stories.

Anne Cathrine Bomann is a psychologist living in Copenhagen. She is a twelve-time Danish table tennis champion and is now making her mark in the literary world. Translated into twenty languages, her first novel, "Agathe," was highly successful. She returns in 2023 with "Blue Notes (En dehors de la gamme)."

Cassie Bérard
Professor, researcher, and writer, Cassie Bérard is notably the author of "La valeur de l’inconnue" (La mèche, 2019), "L’équilibre" (La mèche, 2021), and "Congé" (La mèche, 2024). She teaches narrative theories and creative writing at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has led fiction collectives and published several short stories contributing to a body of work where forms of authority are often questioned.
